The roots of E&S Electric go back to 1958 when Irv Eichorst Sr. founded the original family business. Farm, service, and residential wiring soon expanded into the commercial and industrial arena, while continuing to service the original customer base.

 

Upon Irv Sr.'s retirement in 1974, Irv Jr. carried on the family business. Irv Jr. used his apprenticeship training and ten years of experience to forge ahead into the ever-increasing demand for electrical installations.

 

Irv Jr's sons Mike and John joined the company in 1985 and 1997 respectively. Their experience began as teenagers in their father's shop. Both are Master Electricians and graduates of Dunwoody Industrial Institute in Minneapolis, MN. Their assistance was definitely a plus for the business, which by then had over 30 staff members. Mike's experience is electrical design, and project management as well as design build at larger commercial jobs.

 

E&S specializes in all aspects of wiring commercial and residential buildings. We're a leader in Madison electrical contracting. We do project management, computerized estimating, retrofitting for energy efficient lighting, green electrical technologies, electrical design build projects, temporary power, and lighting design.
