I did read the fine print however, and understood ahead of time that my install would cost more because it was a new installation, versus just replacing a fan.
Mike came out and gave me estimates for several options, with the understanding that it would cost more, and that he'd apply the discount to whatever option I chose.
Due to mitigating circumstances, I had to keep delaying the install so was able not able to utilize the service until 6mo after the expiration date, but Mike honored the discount anyway.
We played phone tag after the initial estimate, trying to set up a date, and then I somehow forgot about the install date and wasn't home, and then we played some more phone tag. When we were finally able to coordinate our schedules, his rep showed up on time, and got right to work. He was very professional and friendly and completed his work in a timely manner and cleaned up after himself. The fan works beautifully and looks to be solid and stable. He had to punch a couple of holes in the wall for the wiring, but he was conscientious about where he punched the holes, so that it wasn't horribly obvious. He showed me the discs and set them carefully aside should I need them. He made sure I knew how to use the fan (not too difficult...), and showed me where he left the instructions and fan warranty.
I was not an easy customer, especially with the scheduling, but Mike and his staff remained very professional and never made me feel like I was being a nuisance. I really appreciated that."
